The Society of Scottish Artists and its new leadership wanted to make sure the organisation was better adapted to the digital landscape, with a fresh, contemporary identity. This was the perfect moment to rebrand. Through workshops and feedback, we challenged and questioned where the society had been, where it was going, and overall who it really served. At the core of all this, the ssa curates the creative landscape in Scotland. This translated into a new visual identity incorporating a changeable gradient colour palette, and a logo with an outline that moved on the screen, and could be adapted and manipulated for print.
It was a pleasure working with Josh on this project. He really understood what we were looking for and executed it beautifully. It has been really nice seeing the brand being applied differently to each exhibition.
